The Core

The calling, core values and vision of The Navigators are collectively referred to as The Core. The Core was largely developed in a three year process that started in 2001. This process involved leaders from all over the world meeting in focused worship, prayer and extensive interaction as they examined the work of the Navigators internationally in the light of God’s word.

The Calling of The Navigators is the mission to which God has called us.

The Core values of The Navigators are those central motivations that are written on our hearts. These nine central motivations define who we are and permeate everything we do. They guide our journey. These Values need to be taught and applied in context, in ways that keep them fresh and alive.

The Vision of the Navigators is the impression of the outcomes as we faithfully pursue our calling. This is our prayer. It paints a picture that is descriptive rather than definitive.
