The Navigators Africa
Profile

The Navigators, an interdenominational, nonprofit organization, was founded in the United States of America in 1933. For the past 75 years, the Navigators have dedicated themselves to helping people know Christ and make Him known. The Navigators are today present on all continents, with more than 4,000 Navigator staff coming alongside people to help them study the Bible, develop their prayer life, and memorize and apply God’s word in their lives. The ultimate goal has been to equip people all over the world to fulfill 2 Timothy 2:2 by teaching others what they have learned.

By 1978, the first Africans had joined staff. Today 450 staff of 20 nationalities work in 26 African countries. The national ministries are at the various stages of Initiating, Developing, Consolidating and Partnering.
