NAVIGATORS AFRICA WOMEN'S DAY
Close to 300 women from 20 African nations gathered for the Navigators Africa Women’s Day Conference on the 27th of February 2009. This was a day marked by colour, song and dance, bonding and above all great joy in the Lord. The venue of this historic conference was the Nairobi Pentecostal Church, Karen, a few kilometers from the Nairobi city centre.
The five objectives of this meeting were to allow the women to:

worship God together

meet, interact and to get to know one another.

hear from Mike Treneer on The Woman and the Nav world.

network though hearing various testimonies from those in diverse and unusual ministries.

acknowledge those whom God has used in Africa.

A TIME OF REFRESHING Inspired by the Lord's words to His disciples "Come away by yourselves to a remote place and rest awhile," Student laborers withi n Universities, High Schools,
Pre-University, Eldoret area and Machakos area student ministries in Kenya gathered for times of refreshing and re-energizing from May 1st - 3rd, 2009. The venue was Word of Life, Upper Kabete, on the outskirts of Nairobi.
HIGHLIGHTS:
- Sermons from Colossians by Nick Wanyoike, Africa Navigator staff in charge of Leadership Development.
- Small group interactions in prayer and the word.
- A movie plus a bonfire and...
- Great Meals
In the end, the laborers had time to look back on how far they have come before re-focusing and re-committing themselves to our calling:
To advance the Gospel of Jesus and His kingdom
into the nations through spiritual generations of laborers
living and discipling among the lost.
