Volume 2 of 2008 of NavNewsAfrica focuses on the important topic of ministry by and to children of Navigator staff. This is another exciting aspect of the impact of Navigator minisries across the continent.
While Mnenge and Sedoo Dio were in primary school, their parents ministered as Navigator missonaries at the University of Ibadan. This enabled them to first watch and then participate in various ministry activities. When they joined University, their involvement with the Ibadan campus team continued, even though their parents minister elsewhere. They have even signed up for the Nigerian Graduate Trainee Program. For these and other children of Navigator staff involved in ministry as they undertake their university studies, their parents' example has been their main motivation to choose to follow Christ and obey the Great Commission. What a joy for parents to see their children catch the vision they planted in them!
