FUNDRAISING DEVELOPMENT

The primary purpose of this ministry is “To bring hope and success to African Navigators in funding our common calling.” This purpose is born out of the firm belief that a fully funded staff person is able to minister fully. This ministry aims at encouraging all the fulltime staff of the Africa Navigators to become fully funded as they apply the principles of biblical fundraising.

LEADER DEVELOPMENT

Some are born leaders, and many have leadership gifts. However, the development of Godly, effective leaders is a slow and deliberate process. This process does not take place en masse, but one on one through the involvement of appropriate and caring 'alongsiders'. The Navigators Africa are committed to raising up a new generation of emerging leaders who will provide the leadership needed for change in Africa.

To accomplish this, we are investing in mentors, coaches, 'leader developers' and appropriate experiences for the emerging leaders. As they get older, we want all our matured leaders to find 'convergence' so that all of their experience, gifts, opportunities, life message and their entire life mission are maximized for God's glory in His work. It is our joy to walk with our people, helping them to understand how God has led and developed them in the past and how He uses them.
