Welcome to the Africa Navigators Website. The first of our 9 Core Values is: TO KNOW, LOVE AND BECOME LIKE JESUS CHRIST. Our prayer is that those who visit this website will find themselves drawn into a more intimate relationship with Jesus Christ, and to a greater commitment to advance the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The particular contribution that God has assigned to the Navigators in advancing that Kingdom is through investing in people who then invest in other people.

Earlier today, I read about something called “Viral Expansion Loop”. Now, before you get too impressed with this term, let me quickly add what I also learned:  In plain English, Viral Expansion Loop means that a company grows because each new user begets more users. Just by using a product they spread it. We all know about Hotmail, eBay, MySpace and YouTube.Their phenomenal growth is accomplished by incorporating "virality" into the functionality of the product. Whoever uses it, ends up spreading it.  And then it hit me: the Navigator ministry has been based on this idea all along. We are not primarily about programs, or buildings or even about growing our own organization. The Navigators are passionate about Knowing Christ and Making Him Known. One person at a time. Whoever catches the passion to know Christ, spreads that passion to someone else. In an unstoppable chain reaction.

Africa's hopes all lie in what the Gospel of Jesus offers. Since we hold that Gospel treasure in our hands, we count on the Holy Spirit to build "virality" into everything we do. We are motivated to see labourers for God's Kingdom next door to everywhere. We are talking about labourers who live the life and spread it no matter where they are placed. In many places, the Navigators have been known to work among students and young people. We certainly minister among the youth - very intentionally. By God's grace we intend to continue and even increase our impact among the youth. Ours is a very young continent, and that age-group is critical. But our vision is that Navigator-helped people will be found in every sector of every society. No, we are not just a Youth Ministry. We aim to see godly disciples spreading the fragrance of Christ and the knowledge of Him "viraly" and unstoppably. Among businessmen and women, in the Churches, in neighbourhoods, offices, marketplaces … wherever men and women, boys and girls live, work and play.  
 
We are currently busy doing this in 26 countries of Africa. And we are aiming at being in every country on the continent. In some countries we are well established, while in a few, the work is fairly young. In all of them, we expect the miracle of the Holy Spirit building "virality" into each person we seek to help. And that is why we cannot compromise on quality as we disciple people. Only those who walk closely with God are able to see Him use them to produce other generations. All across Sub-Saharan Africa, Navigator labourers are praying and working hard to the end that deep spiritual transformation can happen. We want to stand and be counted! We offer not a self-improvement program, but a Gospel that transforms through the power of the Holy Spirit. Transforming Africa person by person, community by community, through a particular kind of transforming labourer. Here is our Calling: To advance the Gospel of Jesus and His Kingdom into the nations through spiritual generations of labourers living and discipling among the lost.
